Advice for the Clinically Vulnerable and Extremely Clinically Vulnerable
Current Government Guidance advises the following :
Individuals aged 70 years and over attending the place of worship. Certain groups of people may be at increased risk of severe disease from COVID-19, including people who are aged 70 or older, regardless of medical conditions. Individuals who fall within this group are advised to stay at home as much as possible and, if they do go out, to take particular care to minimise contact with others outside of their household. Those shielding individuals are still advised not to attend places of worship indoors. Advice for both the clinically vulnerable and extremely clinically vulnerable is however advisory and they can choose how to manage their own risks.
Many thanks to all those who have offered their services as stewards and cleaners. We are deeply grateful for your generosity. If you would like to volunteer for this role then please read, complete and return the application documents Volunteer Stewards to one of the Clergy Team for processing.
Our Sunday Mass will continue to be live-streamed via this page on Facebook at 10.00 am.
If you are in need of any help with shopping or deliveries and are over 60 with underlying health issues, and anyone over 70 who is self isolating, then you can contact Age UK the telephone number 0115 8440011 link:
We hope that you received the letter to our parishioners. A copy of the letter is accessible here If we don't have your email address then please submit it so that the letter can be sent out to you.
Our prayer life is now the most important expression of our faith and so let us make it fervent and powerful.
